The Writer's Workshop section of the LitCrit Web provides online quizzes for use as self-tutorial reviews of MLA Documentation, as well as on the concepts and strategies of various critical theories.

Using the Online Quizzes

When you  select one of the quizzes in the menu to the left, you will access an interactive webpage with multiple choice questions.

Most quizzes are configured in a tutorial mode so that when you select a response you will immediately learn whether your choice is correct.  If you have selected the wrong response, you will also receive some information on the error you have made.  Some questions also are accompanied with "Web Resource" hyperlinks.   These links will take you to a section of the LitCrit Web dealing with the material of the questions.  (After using a "Web Resource" link, return to the quiz by clicking on the "Back" button of your browser.)

Some quizzes are configured so that you must complete the entire quiz and click the "Mark Quiz" button to find out how well you did.  For these quizzes, a score of 70% is considered a minimum passing score.

Returning to The Writer's Workshop

After completing a quiz you may return to this page to select another quiz by clicking on "The Writer's Workshop" link at the top of the quiz.  Or Click on the icon to return to the LitCrit Web homepage.
